Esdes Business School recently had the pleasure of welcoming a group of Indian students for an immersive, fully English-language study day, organized in partnership with the agency Le Frehindi. Based in Lyon, this agency supports Indian students who wish to pursue higher education in France and across Europe.
This first collaboration is part of a broader initiative to introduce students to European higher education institutions.
An immersion into Esdes’ teaching approach
Welcomed by Caroline Duval, Director of International Development, and Stéphanie Bois, Head of B2B Partnerships, the students discovered Esdes, its programs, and its learning environment.
The morning began with a presentation of the school, its academic programs, and the opportunities available to international students. Participants then took part in two immersive workshops designed specifically for them:
- AI & Big Data Analysis, led by Sami Ben Jabeur, focusing on data analysis and assessing organizational performance from financial, environmental, and social perspectives.
- Portfolio Management & ESG, led by Rahul Khude, dedicated to responsible investment, ESG challenges, and the difficulties fund managers face when integrating climate strategies.
These workshops allowed students to experience a teaching approach based on interactivity, practice, and exchange : an approach that contrasts with the more lecture-based methods they are accustomed to.
A company visit focused on innovation
In the afternoon, the group visited one of the school’s partners, the company VICAT, for an immersive experience in the professional world.
The visit concluded the day perfectly, highlighting themes of transformation, sustainability, and innovation that are shaping today’s businesses.
A promising first experience
This day showcased Esdes’ strengths to students particularly interested in the Grande École Program and MSc tracks, especially in the fields of Supply Chain, Data Management, Data Analysis, Artificial Intelligence, and Circular Economy.
The event concluded with a certificate ceremony for all participants.
