A successful integration in the heart of Lyon thanks to the Jeunes Ambassadeurs

UCLy and ESDES are strengthening their partnership with the Jeunes Ambassadeurs Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes association.

UCLy and ESDES are deepening their collaboration with the Jeunes Ambassadeurs Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes association—a flagship initiative that, for over 25 years, has supported international students in integrating into the region’s economic and cultural landscape.

Starting this fall, international students enrolled in the MSc programs will have access to this unique program. Throughout the year, they will be mentored by a local professional—serving as a sponsor—who will play a key role in helping them discover French culture, expand their professional network, and grow personally.

This partnership offers students the opportunity to:

• Attend professional and social events related to their field,
• Take part in networking evenings and key moments throughout the year,
• Accelerate their French language learning through immersive experiences,
• Receive guidance in finding an internship.

Beyond academics, this initiative fosters a meaningful integration experience—human-centered, professionally enriching, and internationally minded. It reflects the institution’s commitment to producing not only highly skilled graduates but also individuals who are grounded in their environment and ready to become ambassadors for the region in their home countries.

An information webinar is scheduled for July and August for future admitted students, to present this opportunity and support them in choosing their institution. This partnership reflects the ongoing commitment of UCLy and Esdes to provide their students with comprehensive support, well beyond the classroom.
