{"id":24654,"date":"2022-07-04T09:17:27","date_gmt":"2022-07-04T07:17:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esdes.fr\/?p=24654"},"modified":"2022-07-04T09:17:31","modified_gmt":"2022-07-04T07:17:31","slug":"full-house-for-the-handisport-awareness-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esdes.fr\/en\/full-house-for-the-handisport-awareness-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Full house for the Handisport awareness day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On March 3rd, the BDS ESDES Astro'Monkey association organized an afternoon of Handisport awareness in the presence of Alexandre LLOVERAS, Olympic champion in Tokyo and Sophie SABLON, several times world champion in fencing.<\/p><p>This original event brought together more than a hundred first-year students. The aim: to inform the students about the world of Handisport and to make them aware of this reality. The students took part in practical classes, including 3 handisport disciplines: boccia, cecifoot, table tennis and quizzes; and met high-level athletes with disabilities. This project is an additional opportunity to raise awareness among ESDES students about disability and inclusion issues. In addition to the Ladapt label obtained by all the School's students, these opportunities contribute to training responsible managers. The BDS ESDES ASTRO'MONKEY is the sports association of the ESDES BUSINESS SCHOOL in Lyon. It brings together 41 members of the School's two programs (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.esdes.fr\/accueil\/programmes\/formations-bac-3\/\">Bachelor in Business<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.esdes.fr\/accueil\/programmes\/tous-les-programmes\/programme-grande-ecole-grade-de-master-bac-5\/\">Master in Management<\/a>). For 1 year, the BDS has been committed to promoting disability in sport and has obtained in January 2022 the label 100% Handinamic level 1 of the federation 100% Handinamic.
