He obtained his PhD in economics at Lumi\u00e8re Lyon 2 University. His work, first carried out in the field of corporate governance, is today more broadly oriented towards understanding the links between companies concerning work and democracy in the context of financial capitalism. He has been published in such journals as Applied Economics, Economies and Societies, <em>Revue fran\u00e7aise de Socio-Economie<\/em> and <em>G\u00e9rer et Comprendre<\/em>. He is a member of IREPE (Research Institute for the Political Economy of Business).
