Research policy and governance

ESDES research activities are coordinated by the Research Board, which is composed of:

  • Linh-Chi Vo: Director of Research
  • Anne Deshors: Research Assistant

The main tasks of the Research Board are to:

  • Define research policy and implement it
  • Manage the research budget (databases, statistical analysis software…)
  • Approve the travel and expenses for research professors
  • Organize the various research events (symposia and seminars…)
  • Report on research activities to the appropriate body
  • Organize and chair the annual evaluation of research professors
  • Support faculty in the development of their skills
  • Represent the School before national authorities (Conférence des Grandes Ecoles, etc.).

THE ACADEMIC RESEARCH COUNCIL

The mission of the Academic Research Council is to approve the research strategy and to advise the School management on future research directions.

THE COMMITTEE FOR RESEARCH EVALUATION

The role of the Committee for Research Evaluation is to evaluate the results of research professors and to advise them in the choice of their work. It meets once a year for two days during which hearings of research professors take place. Decisions concerning the research hours of research professors are taken jointly by the Committee and apply for the following academic year.
