Sandra is a faculty member at ESDES in Lyon. She is also an associate researcher at the Montpellier Recherche en management research laboratory and at the “Labex Entrepreneur”. In addition, internationally, Sandra is an associate researcher at the Center for International Research on Cooperative Finance (CIRFC) at HEC Montréal. She obtained her PhD in Finance in 2016 from the University of Montpellier. Her thesis takes a comparative approach to the strategies and performance of cooperatives and investor-owned companies in different fields. She adopts an interdisciplinary vision in her research. Sandra has presented her work at international academic conferences and has published and is in the process of publishing scientific articles in trade journals. Sandra's current research focuses on the financial performance and risk of different types of financial institutions. She is also part of the Euro-Mediterranean Economic Studies Network where she contributes to research in finance and inclusion. Sandra also holds a master's degree in finance (104) from Paris Dauphine University and an undergraduate degree in Management from Saint Joseph University in Beirut. She speaks Arabic, French and English.
