BIOGRAPHY
Doctor Jungwoo Ha is a faculty member at ESDES. He holds an MA in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and a PhD in Organizational Behavior from London Business School. Much of his research focuses on self-promotion, in which people showcase their abilities or accomplishments to be considered competent. Specifically, it explores the question of why and when to engage in self-promotion leading to positive or negative consequences in organizations. In addition, he is studying how failure to engage in self-promotion can adversely affect people's self-perception and cognition.
Another stream of his research is about the relationships among CEO characteristics, top management team dynamics, and firm performance.
