Practical information
To help you, here is a pre-arrival checklist :
Contact esdes.housing@univ-catholyon.fr for assistance with housing. Register for classes online Obtain passport and student visa Bring a spare pair of glasses/contact lenses and prescription of medicines if needed Keep home university address and contact numbers with you Note address & phone number of ESDES and your accommodations Give it to people at home who may need to get in touch with you Carry a copy with you & directions for arrival Photocopy all important information (visa, passport, birth certificate, insurance coverage, travellers cheques, permanent ID/drivers license, etc), leaving a second copy at home Carry several passport sized photos for administrative documents once you arrive Have enough cash in Euros to get you through the first few days Pack something from your home country/culture to share (e.g. costume, snack, recipe, etc) Learn a few words in French Be ready for a cultural transition
